Privacy policy
This policy explains which personal data I collect on this website, why, and what rights you have under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR, Regulation (EU) 2016/679).
Data controller
Mohamed Amine Ennoura (Chef Amine Ennoura), private chef, Via Nazionale 38, 50062 Dicomano (FI), Italy. VAT IT07546950481. Phone and WhatsApp: +39 353 490 1356.
What data I collect
- Request form: destination, type of stay, dates, number of guests, budget, name, phone or WhatsApp number, email (optional), your role and your message.
- Direct contact: what you send me by WhatsApp, phone or email.
- Technical data: your browser automatically sends technical information (such as IP address and browser type) to the hosting provider so the pages can be delivered.
- Analytics (only with your consent): pseudonymous data about how you use the site, such as pages visited and device type.
I do not ask for and do not want sensitive data. If you share dietary needs or allergies for a stay, they are used only to cook safely for you.
Why I use it and on what legal basis
- To answer your request and prepare a proposal: steps taken at your request before a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).
- To run, secure and improve the website: my legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
- To measure audience with analytics cookies: your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), which you can withdraw at any time.
- To keep accounting records once you book: legal obligation (Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR).
How the form works
The form does not store your data on a server. When you press send, your browser opens WhatsApp with your message already written, and you choose whether to send it. WhatsApp is provided by WhatsApp Ireland Limited (Meta), which processes your message under its own privacy policy.
Who receives your data
Your data is never sold. It may be shared only with: the hosting provider Wix.com Ltd. (Israel, a country with an EU adequacy decision) and its sub-processors; WhatsApp Ireland Limited when you contact me through WhatsApp; Google Ireland Limited for analytics, only if you accept; and, for a confirmed booking, the members of my team who work on your stay. Some providers may transfer data outside the EU under the safeguards required by the GDPR, such as standard contractual clauses.
Cookies and similar technologies
The site uses a small piece of browser storage to remember your cookie choice. Analytics cookies (Google Analytics 4) are set only after you click Accept, with IP anonymisation. Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts and images from the Wix image service, which receive your IP address to deliver them. You can change your choice at any time with the “Cookie settings” link at the bottom of every page.
How long I keep it
Requests that do not lead to a booking are deleted within 12 months. Data linked to a booking is kept for as long as required by Italian tax and accounting law (generally 10 years). Analytics data is kept for a maximum of 14 months.
Your rights
You can ask to access, correct, delete, restrict or receive a copy of your data, object to its use, and withdraw your consent at any time without affecting what was done before. Write to me at the number above and I will reply within one month. You also have the right to complain to the Italian supervisory authority, the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali (garanteprivacy.it), or to the authority of your country.
Changes
I may update this policy. The date at the top shows the latest version.
